Melissa A. Gondek, LISW-S is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisory designation who has experience working with adolescents, adults, seniors, and families in a variety of settings. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Syracuse University and Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Le Moyne College. She is licensed in New York and Ohio and has worked with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, anger, and other traumas. Melissa believes that recognizing and harnessing one’s inherent strengths can set someone on a path towards desired change. Encouraging you to become your own biggest champion—with a healthy dose of humor, is what she finds most rewarding. Melissa enjoys spending time with family and loved ones, petting all the dogs she can find, and doing jigsaw puzzles.
