Mattie H. Hyland, Psy.D., joins our team as a post-doctoral fellow as she currently works towards independent licensure in clinical psychology. She was born and raised in Memphis Tennessee and completed her Bachelor of Science in psychology from Mississippi State University. Mattie recently graduated with her Doctor of Psychology in clinical psychology from Eastern Kentucky University. She has experience in a variety of settings working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Mattie has experience with treating depression, anxiety, attachment issues, grief, and ADHD, as well as many other diagnoses. She also has experience working with trauma-related disorders, as well as providing LGBTQIA+ affirming care. She is new to Cleveland and loves hearing about places to visit and restaurants to check out. In her free time, she loves to watch Cleveland Browns football, play with her dogs Cash and Bear, and go to plays at Playhouse Square.
