June 2021 Mask and Lobby Update

The Center for Disease Control has recently updated its guidance for vaccinated individuals. The CDC now says that vaccinated individuals can go maskless in most places, indoors and outdoors. Currently everyone ages 12 and up is eligible for covid vaccination. Throughout the pandemic, the health and welfare of staff, clients, and families has been our priority. Because all of us have taken prevention and safety seriously, we have been able to stay open and offer in person services.

All of the psychologists at RPA are fully vaccinated. Most of our eligible clients and family members are also vaccinated. We still have many clients who are young and not yet eligible for the vaccines. We need to keep protecting them. To continue to ensure the health and safety of everyone, we are updating out mask and lobby policy, effective June 1, 2021. Our lobby will be fully open again. You do not need to text the office upon arrival and can just come into the lobby.

If you are fully vaccinated, you are now allowed to go without a mask in the office. However, we need to have proof of your vaccination. If you are a client and/or family member, we will scan your vaccination card into our medical record. If you are not yet fully vaccinated, you are required to wear a mask at all times while in the office. Children not yet vaccinated are also required to wear a mask while in the office. To summarize, starting June 1 our office is again fully open, verified vaccinated individuals are allowed to go maskless in the office, unvaccinated individuals and children are still required to wear a mask while in the office. Thank you for working with us to keep everyone safe. We look forward to seeing your faces again. Remember to be kind to one another and help take care of each other.
